This morning, our car’s external thermostat read -14°. With temperatures like that, it’s hard to believe that Spring Break will ever arrive. It won’t be long, though. And I’m already thinking about some spring break outfit ideas! Soon, we’ll all be approaching that middle of the semester slump, and we’ll welcome the chance to recharge.

Whether you go off to Florida with your family or stay at home, you can have a great Spring Break. As you plan for a week of vacation, start prepping your wardrobe, too. Here are a few Spring Break outfit ideas, no matter the destination.

Eating healthy while you’re on the go is hard, so here are some healthy snack ideas that are perfect for vacation.

3 Spring Break Outfit Ideas You’ll Need To Pack

As you plan for a week of vacation, start prepping your wardrobe, too. Here are a few Spring Break outfit ideas, no matter the destination.

Beach Vacation

If you’re headed to some place warm and tropical, good for you! Enjoy the water, fun, and snow-free roads. When packing outfits for the beach vacation, you want to consider items that can transfer from the water to a restaurant well.

Essential Items:

  • Bathing suits (2)
  • Cover-up
  • Comfortable dress
  • Sandals
  • Hat

Find a cover-up that can double as an outfit for a quick lunch or trip into town. When looking for a good, versatile dress, search for something that is easy to wear, like this one. Grab a pair of comfortable sandals for walking around town and heading to beach. To top it all off, find the perfect hat. You can go for the classic, floppy beach hat or a cute baseball cap. When you’re dressing for the beach, think simple, comfortable, and fun.

Adventure Vacation

Are you headed out to camp and hike with your family this Spring Break? If you’re trading the beach for the woods, here are a few great outfit ideas.

Essential Items:

  • Hiking boots/tennis shoes
  • Light jacket
  • Hat
  • Sweatshirt
  • Scarf

Being outdoors is a great way to spend your Spring Break. But don’t think that hiking limits your style! You can look great, feel comfortable, and explore a national park. If you don’t have a good pair of hiking boots or tennis shoes, make the investment! These will last you a long time, and they’ll come in handy for other adventures. Pack a jacket that can provide a bit of warmth and protect you from rain. Or, at the least, pack a rain jacket and a good sweatshirt for layering underneath.

Another great item to bring along is a scarf or a neck gaiter. These handy neck warmers can serve as a scarf, face cover, and even a hat. They’re practical and have lots of cute designs. In the end, pack practically and intentionally for your outdoors vacation. Shop sporting goods stores or discount websites like REI Garage for great finds.

Around Town Vacation

You may be heading to a new city for your Spring Break. Have fun exploring new places! Even if you’re sticking around home and making plans in your own city, you can have fun dressing for the week of Spring Break.

Essential Items:

  • Cute, comfortable shoes
  • Light jacket
  • Backpack or cross-body bag

When you’re walking around town and visiting new places, you must have good shoes. There’s nothing worse than being slowed down by annoying foot pain. There are some amazing, slip-on options out there, and you won’t sacrifice style for comfort. You’ll want a great jacket – one that looks good and provides a bit of warmth. And finally, don’t forget a great accessory to accompany you around town. Grab your favorite cross-body purse or a small backpack, and head out in an effortless, casual look.

Spring Break will be here soon! Shop your closet or favorite store, and put together some fun, versatile outfits for your vacation ahead. Enjoy!
